Ragion per cui, quando qualche mese fa Agnese Manni mi ha proposto di partecipare ad un’antologia che raccoglieva le più autorevoli penne del sud e le metteva a confronto con le peggiori storie di sangue, io ho detto: sì grazie, ero commossa, oltre onorata. Mi sono detta: ci provo, ché tanto ci sono storie che io, con il mestiere che faccio, sempre tra le aule di tribunale, neppure me le cerco: sono loro che mi vengono a trovare. Ne avevo, infatti, giusto una nerissima che mi ronzava attorno. Erano i giorni in cui in televisione non si vedeva altro che il biondo pulcino di Avetrana e tutti a dire la propria. Non so bene perché, ma in quella gazzarra, m’ero convinta che i paginoni, l’audience e i palinsesti drogati, gli esperti con la collana di perle, fossero un fenomeno sociale importante; da studiare. E che tutta la questione avesse qualcosa a che fare con la felicità. Con la felicità della gente. Tutta la gente. Eppure lei sostiene, al contrario, che Abel Hesigaard, con tutti i suoi strani comportamenti, dimostra unicamente d’aver perso la ragione.

Nella sacra officina di Giuseppe Goffredo l’oblio è un artigiano che lavora i granelli di luce per prepararli alla trasformazione.
